Alissa Schapiro named recipient of 2020-2021 Crown Graduate Fellowship

Congratulations to Alissa Schapiro, the recipient of the 2020-2021 Crown Graduate Fellowship in Jewish Studies. Alissa is a PhD candidate in the Department of Art History at Northwestern. Her dissertation,” ‘Busy with Other News’: American Art, Visual Culture, and Antisemitism during World War II” explores how American art and visual culture responded to Nazi terror during World War II.
