SAVOY CURRY NAMED 2024-2025 CROWN GRADUATE FELLOWSHIP RECIPIENT
Congratulations to Savoy Curry, the recipient of the 2024-2025 Crown Graduate Fellowship in Jewish Studies. Savoy is a Ph.D candidate in the History Department. Her research examines the criminalization of sex work, adultery, and sexual relationships between Jews and Christians in German lands in the 14th and 15th centuries. She considers court records, religious texts, and literary depictions of illicit sexual behavior, as a means of understanding how both Christian and Jewish communities contributed to the regulation of religious boundaries at a local level.
